According to party sources, the announcements that will be made after the end of the Chintan Shivir may include reserving 50 per cent posts in the party for those below 50 years of age. Apart from this, an active parliamentary board and “one family, one ticket” formula can also be included in it. Sources said that the Congress is also planning to fix a maximum tenure of five years for organizational posts. This will include a cooling-off period of three years.

Sources said that in this regard, Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have so far participated in the discussions of various panels.
