UIT I on Action Mode: UIT’s baton will run on encroachers in 12 revenue villages of 5 panchayats

The Urban Development Trust has now made preparations to take action regarding the rapid acquisition of government lands in 12 revenue villages of 5 panchayats of Jaisalmer. Land mafia has occupied land worth crores of UIT. Due to which the UIT is now going to take action by running a bulldozer after identifying the encroachment. The UIT has given strict instructions to the encroachers to remove the encroachments in time, otherwise the trust will take action.

UIT Secretary Sunita Chaudhary said that many people have encroached on government land. Now under the orders that have come for the process of regulation, a camp will be organized where the land will be marked after seeing the opportunity. The list of encroachers is being prepared by the UIT.

He said that a team would be formed after talking to District Collector Tina Dabi and SP Jaisalmer on this matter. After that action will be taken against encroachment. UIT Secretary Sunita Chaudhary has warned the encroachers to move away in time, otherwise action will be taken due to which they will have to face financial loss.

Encroachment will be removed from 12 revenue villages of 5 panchayats

UIT Secretary Sunita Chaudhary said that Jaisalmer UIT has 12 revenue villages of 5 panchayats. These mainly include Amarsagar, Mool Sagar, Jiyai, Darbari’s village, Soron ki Dhani, Hamira, Thaiyat, Moklat, Kishanghat and Jaisalmar. Of these, more than one lakh bighas of land belongs to UIT. In these, the work of regulation will be done till November 3 under the campaign.
