Union Bank’s Nari Shakti Yojana launched: Women will be able to take loan from 2 to 10 crores; DC handed over the check to 21

In order to make the women of Himachal Pradesh financially self-reliant through self-employment, ‘Nari Shakti Yojana’ was launched by Union Bank in Hamirpur. Women will be able to take loan from 2 to 10 crores under the scheme. To make women self-reliant in rural areas, a plan has been made to make them financially strong, to advance self-help groups up to 20 lakhs.

DC Dev Shweta Banik while launching this scheme said that now women are working outside the house. Earlier they used to give more priority to jobs, but now to become self-reliant and to be financially sound, they are also coming forward in large numbers for self-employment. There are many such schemes of the government, through which they are being encouraged to make them self-reliant.

She said that in the olden times women were afraid, but now they are coming forward to accept every challenge. On this occasion, Regional Chief Raj Kumar said that loans worth two crores have been distributed to women for self-employment. With the launch of the scheme, now women will be able to apply for loans easily.

75 lakh also given loan

Women had also reached from Bilaspur and other areas in the program. Nisha Kumari was given the maximum loan of 75 lakhs. Apart from this, loans worth about 2 crores were distributed to 21 people including Vatika Sood, Rajni Devi, Kanta Devi, Disha, Anuradha.

Many women including Branch Manager Nidhi Kumari, Praveena Kumari and Sonali were present in the program. Rajkumar said that the formalities have been made very simple so that women do not face any kind of problem for taking loans. Any woman can come forward and apply for it.
