Boycott Bollywood Trend: Nowadays, opposition to Bollywood is in constant trend in the country. There seems to be controversy over the release of films one after the other. Big stars of Bollywood have also come in the grip of this Boycott trend. Although many artists have appealed to end this trend. In this episode, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur has also given his response. According to him, this trend should end because it has a bad effect on the environment.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, “The Government of India has made the Central Board of Film Certification that if any film goes to the theater, it will go through there. They keep an eye on all the aspects. After permission from there, they go to the theatre. comes in.”
He further said, “Today our films are making a name for themselves in the world. Then this Boycott type of talk affects the environment. Many times people comment without complete knowledge to spoil the environment, then it also harms. It happens, it shouldn’t happen.”
Recently released Shahrukh Khan’s film Pathan also had to go through the same protest. There was a lot of controversy regarding the film. However, the film broke records after its release. Even Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar came in the grip of Boycott trend. Akshay’s film Rakshabandhan has faced a lot of opposition. At the same time, Aamir Khan’s film Lal Singh Chaddha also flopped at the box office.
SCO film is going to be organized in Mumbai. Regarding this event, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that ’58 films from 14 countries will be screened in 5 days in the SCO Film Festival, this is an opportunity for India to take its best films to the world’.
