Lucknow, Jnn. Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) Intermediate practical examination was over, but 1,03,798 candidates missed the examination. Now the UP Board will soon announce a new date with the permission of the government to conduct the examination of these candidates. Before this, the number of students left out school-wise is being counted. Keeping in view the number of candidates in the schools, the examination centers will be decided afresh. After that the examination will be conducted by appointing an examiner.

Division wise practical examination was conducted in two cycles from April 20 to May 4. After the announcement of the date of practical examination, due to lack of difference in starting the examination, all the candidates could not appear in the examination due to lack of information. The situation was that the examination was to start from April 20, but till April 20, the required forms for the practical examination could not reach the examination centers.

After that, due to very less time, there was also a problem in giving information to the examinees, which became a big reason for missing the exam. All the students could not appear in the examination due to some other reasons. In such a situation, by writing a letter to all the District School Inspectors of Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla, school-wise and subject-wise information of the candidates who missed the practical examination was sought on the portal of Secondary Education Council till 12 midnight on May 6.

According to Dibyakant Shukla, Secretary of the UP Board, the information about missing the examination of 1,03,798 candidates has been given by the schools on the portal. In which school, how many students are there for which subject, it is being counted. Where there are more candidates, priority will be given to make the same school as the center.

In schools where the number of examinees is less, the center of the examinees will be made in the nearest school with more number of students. He said that the convenience of the candidates would be taken care of in determining the examination center. After the determination of the examination center and the appointment of examiners, the examination will be completed by declaring the examination date with the permission of the government.
