A woman living in a society in Noida’s Thana Bisrakh area allegedly consumed poison due to domestic dispute and also fed poison to her two-year-old child. The child died in the incident while the condition of the woman is critical. Inspector Umesh Bahadur Singh, in-charge of police station Bisrakh said that a woman living in a society in the police station area had a fight with her mother-in-law over some issue, after which the woman herself ate poison by feeding her son.
He said that the woman and her child were admitted to a hospital in Greater Noida for treatment in a very serious condition, from where she was referred to another hospital in view of the deteriorating condition of the child. He told that the child died during treatment, while the condition of the woman remains very critical. Police have taken the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. The case is being investigated.
