Bairia’s Block Education Officer Pankaj Mishra said on Saturday that a video of Hemantpur Durjanpur Composite School of Bairia’s education area is going viral on social media on Friday. In the video, the students locked all the teachers including the school headmaster in a room of the school and locked the door. In the video, Dheeraj, a student studying in class 8th, is telling that no student has received the money for the mid-day meal during the Kovid period. The matter was complained to the headmaster several times, but no action was taken in this matter. For this reason, on Friday, along with the headmaster, other teachers were locked in a room in the school.

In-charge Principal Jayaprakash Yadav told that he was taken hostage by the students, then after persuading them, the students opened the lock and left. He told that he has not informed the police about this matter. Bairia’s Deputy District Magistrate Atreya Mishra has expressed ignorance of the incident.
