Utpana Ekadashi 2021: Ekadashi fasting has special significance in Sanatan Dharma. According to the English Panchang, two Ekadashi are celebrated in every month and 24 Ekadashi are celebrated in a year. At the same time, 26 Ekadashi is celebrated in Adhikmas. Thus Utpanna Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Margashirsha is on 30th November. It is a religious belief that by virtue of Ekadashi fasting, the devotee gets freedom from all sins. According to the English Panchang, Ekadashi will start on November 30 at 4:13 am in the morning and will end at 2:13 am on the night of December 1. Therefore, the seeker can worship Lord Shri Vishnu throughout the day.
Ekadashi worship method
Ekadashi begins on the day of Dashami. On this day, do not consume things like garlic, onion, etc., including vengeful food. Also follow the celibacy rule. If possible, eat food containing rock salt. On the day of Ekadashi, start the day by paying obeisance to Lord Shri Hari Vishnu at Brahma Bela in the morning. Then clean the house. After this, after retiring from daily work, take a bath with water containing Ganges water. After that, wear yellow colored clothes after praying. Now first of all offer water to Lord Bhaskar. Then worship Lord Shri Vishnu with yellow flowers, yellow fruits, incense, Deep Tulsi group. In the end, complete the worship by performing aarti. Keep fast for the whole day. If the fast wishes, one can consume water and one fruit once a day. After performing aarti in the evening, eat fruit. On the next day, open the Parana i.e. fast by reciting the pooja.
