Two accused in the SSSC-2021 exam paper leak case in Uttarakhand have been arrested in Lucknow. UP STF has arrested Sadiq Musa, the mastermind of 2 lakh prize money for leaking the SSSC-2021 exam paper. The STF has also arrested Musa’s accomplice and Yogeshwar Rao, a reward of one lakh. An FIR has been registered against these two accused in the Raipur police station of Dehradun under several serious sections including cheating and gangster act.
UP STF claims that Musa is a resident of Shahganj, Jaunpur and was currently living in Akbarpur Ambedkarnagar. At the same time, Yogeshwar Rao Bhadsar is a native of Ghazipur and currently lived in B Block Indiranagar.
UKSSSC paper was printed in Lucknow
ADG STF Amitabh Yash claims that the UKSSSC-2021 paper was printed in Lucknow itself. During interrogation, the accused have told that the question paper of the written examination was being printed by RMS Solution Company located at Engineering College, Chauraha. This information was given to him by the employee of the company, Kashan Shaikh. Kashan had told that the examination will be held on May 4-5, 2021, whose paper he will provide. For this, he demanded eight lakh rupees for each candidate.
Paper deal settled for 8 lakhs
If Amitabh Yash is to be believed, Sadiq Musa and Yogeshvar Rao settled the paper deal with Kashan for 8 lakhs. Kashan provided him the paper of the second shift examination to be held on May 5 ahead of time. On receiving the paper, Musa and Yogeshwar informed about it to Shashikant Singh, resident of Uttarakhand and Kendrapal Singh of Jaunpur. After this, both of them reached Haldwani on December 4 along with their companions Firoz and Sampanna Rao. Both Shashikant and Kendrapal met in the hotel room.
During this it was decided that Rs 10 lakh would be taken from every candidate. That is, the deal was settled for 10 lakh per candidate. After this the accused returned after giving the question paper. After the examination, Shashikant gave Rs 20 lakh to Yogeshwar and told to pay the rest of the amount later. Yogeshwar gave 20 lakh rupees to Kashan.
The error came after the result
UKSSSC- Result of the exam has been declared. After that the screening of the candidates started. Irregularities were exposed in this screening and 100 candidates were found suspicious. After this the commission gave instructions for investigation and FIR was registered. The forgery of the accused came to the fore in the investigation and a reward was declared on both of them. Since then both were absconding, who were arrested and handed over to Uttarakhand Police by UP STF.
Dhami government is under pressure in the paper leak case
There is a lot of ruckus in Uttarakhand regarding paper leaks. The form was leaked even before the examination of Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission i.e. UKSSSC. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had himself held a review meeting after the controversy over the paper leak case increased and announced the cancellation of the examination.
Two accused were arrested from Bijnor even three days ago
Earlier, on September 13, two more accused were arrested by the UP STF in the UKSSSC graduate level paper leak case. Vikas Kumar is a resident of Alampur, Rehar, Dhampur, Bijnor and Sanjeev Kumar is a resident of Moradabad. Both of them had done the work of transporting the candidates to the copying center in Dhampur.
