Video launched on the theme ‘Mera Vote’: DC Kangra Dr. Nipun Jindal launches voter awareness campaign

Himachal’s Kangra Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nipun Jindal said that a special awareness campaign has been started to make all the voters of the district aware about voting. In this regard, songs have also been composed on the theme of Mera Vote Zaroor.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nipun Jindal, after launching the video of the song of folk singer Kumar Sahil under Sweep in the auditorium of NIC, said that the assembly election-2022 is a great festival of democracy. Participation of all eligible voters will be ensured in this so that 100% voting can be done. He said that young voters have also been made aware of voting through SVEEP.

Apart from this, various programs are also being organized in schools, colleges, polytechnical institutions so that Voter ID cards of all voters who have completed 18 years of age can be made. He said that campaign vehicles are also going from village to village in each assembly constituency to make voters aware. Along with this, demo of EVM is also being given at each polling booth.

So that people can use their vote in the right way through EVM. Jindal said that in Kangra district, the campaign was started from 16th August to generate Voter ID card of eligible youth who have completed 18 years of age. Under which registration has been done for making Voter ID card of 30 new voters.

He said that the officers of Panchayati Raj Department, Rural Development Department, Education Department, Youth Sports Services Department and Women and Child Development Department have also been asked to prepare plans related to their respective departments for voting awareness. So that work can be done in mission mode. On this occasion, ADC Gandharva Rathod, Kumar Sahil and officers of the Election Department were present.
