Meanwhile, Virat will now return directly to the Indian team for the second Test against New Zealand on December 3. The Kiwis have to play two Tests after the current T20I series, which will end with the third match on Sunday. After the current T20 team captain Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane will lead the team for the first Test, and then Virat will take over the captaincy.
