Davos, Pretr. CEOs of more than 100 companies and over a dozen ministers and chief ministers are expected from India to participate in the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) to be held in Davos, Switzerland after nearly two years. It is believed that along with raising investments, the Indian delegation will also share its experiences related to the Corona epidemic. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal will lead the Indian delegation. Apart from this, Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Hardeep Puri will also participate in this conference.

The World Economic Forum was established in January 1971. Initially it was named European Management Forum. Two years later, representatives of 1000 companies from around the world participated in this conference. A report in 1979 talked about the expansion of this organization on a global scale. After this in 1987 it was renamed as World Economic Forum. In 2015, this organization was formally recognized as an international organization.
