Considering it seriously, a monitoring committee has been formed. The tournament has been put on hold with immediate effect. Wrestling federation meeting canceled in Ayodhya
Earlier on Sunday, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) to be held in Ayodhya was cancelled. The decision came after Vinod Tomar, assistant secretary of the Wrestling Federation, was suspended on Saturday evening. Along with this, the activities of WFI were immediately banned till the investigation into the allegations of the wrestlers is completed.

Players open front against Brijbhushan
Let us tell you that recently many veteran wrestlers of the country had opened a front against the Wrestling Federation. Many wrestlers including Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and Sakshi Malik sat on a dharna at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The players had made serious allegations against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, President of the Wrestling Federation. The wrestlers, who were staging a sit-in at Jantar Mantar, called off their sit-in after meeting Union Sports Minister Thakur on Friday.
Along with this, Sports Minister Anurag Thakur announced the formation of a monitoring committee for the Wrestling Federation.
