New Delhi, Online Desk. In the third test match, India had set a target of 212 runs for South Africa to win, but when Team India landed on the field on the fourth day, it had to drop 8 wickets to win while the hosts had to score 111 runs. Indian captain Kohli congratulated Jasprit Bumrah and Mohd. Handed the new ball to Shami, but he could not manage to take early wickets. Keegan Pietersen emerged as the big winner for South Africa and scored 82 runs in 111 balls to put his team on the path of victory. In this match, India got only one success on the fourth day and lost by 7 wickets.

Now on the fourth day of the match, due to which strategic lack of captain Kohli, the Indian team could not succeed in getting the wicket, Sunil Gavaskar told about it. Talking on Star Sports, he said that it was a mystery to me why Shardul Thakur and Bumrah did not bowl after lunch. This was such a decision after which it was proved that Virat Kohli is not going to win the third test match. He further said that the field placement at the time of R Ashwin’s bowling was also not correct and due to this the batsmen were taking singles easily. Five fielders were in the deep.

Sunil Gavaskar had nothing but praise for the South African batting line-up who batted brilliantly against an incredibly powerful Indian attack. Indian fast bowlers Bumrah, Shami, Shardul and Umesh constantly asked questions to the batsmen, but the Proteas batsmen played the delivery to the best of its ability and slowly reached the target. Gavaskar said the pitch in Johannesburg was also not good for batting, but the manner in which the South African batting showed his character.
