According to the Motor Vehicle Act, if a person does not lock the strip after wearing a helmet, then he will come under a punishable offense. If a person is caught driving a vehicle without a strip lock, then he will have to pay a fine of Rs 1000. Apart from this, the traffic police also has a provision to suspend the license. It is wise to wear a brand helmet while driving a two-wheeler and lock the same strip after wearing the helmet.

So much is deducted for jumping red light

Failure to follow the traffic signal can lead to a major accident. At the same time, the challan is also deducted for jumping the red light. In case of red light jump, a fine ranging from Rs 1000 to Rs 5,000 can be imposed. Apart from this, there can also be a jail term from six months to one year.
