A case of sexual harassment has been registered against Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh following a complaint by an athletics coach. In her complaint, the coach has accused Sandeep of inviting her to his home and indulging in sexual misconduct.

3. Sandeep Singh recovered from that freak incident, re-established himself in the Indian national team, and was the top scorer in the 2008 and 2009 editions of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, with India winning the gold medal in the latter.
