An extended meeting of CPIM workers at Nirmand in Himachal’s Kullu was held at Nirmand office on Thursday. In this meeting, the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections were discussed among the workers from Nirmand zone sign, Tawar, Bhalsi, Bahwa, Nagar Panchayat Nirmand, Shishvi, Ghatu Panchayat.

Addressing the meeting, CPIM Area Committee Secretary Devkinand, Local Committee members Paras Ram, Kashmiri Lal, Sunny said that due to the anti-people policies of the present government, the life of the general public has been in danger. The central government is continuously putting an economic burden on the general public by increasing taxes.

He said that under MGNREGA, employment is not being found in rural areas and even if it is available, then wages are not being received on time. So that’s a double whammy on them. At the same time, people are agitating against the anti-people policies of the state government. Today the BJP government is making lucrative promises regarding elections, while this government has treated people like strangers in the last 5 years.

At the same time, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are also following the path of BJP. As the elections are approaching, the BJP, Congress and AAP are spreading false propaganda among the people. He said that CPIM has always struggled to take people along for the issues of the people.

He said that the party would contest elections from Ani assembly by making education, health, electricity, water, milk price, apple price, MNREGA employment, rising inflation and corruption in jobs as the main issues. On this occasion Kashmiri, Bhoga Ram, Devi Chand, Tara Chand, Khyala Nand, Premlata, Anju, Satya, Sharda Devi, Bavita, Babli, Meera Devi, Kanta, Tirtha Devi Gurdayal, Dev Raj etc. were included.
