A young man was seriously injured in a shootout that took place late on Tuesday night in a mutual dispute in Alamganj locality of Nagar police station area of ​​district headquarters Sasaram. The injured youth has been referred to Varanasi after first aid at the Trauma Center. The incident happened around 11 pm on Tuesday night.

City SHO Kamakhya Narayan Singh said that information about firing has been received in a mutual dispute over some matter. There was a dispute between the two parties in Alamganj locality late night over some issue, the matter escalated so much that one side opened fire.

Sunny Kumar, the 17-year-old son of Sarju Singh of Shobhaganj, was seriously injured in this incident. After this, he was admitted to the trauma center of Sadar Hospital for treatment with the help of relatives.

Due to the critical condition of the bullet injured teenager, his statement could not be taken, so the actual cause of the incident is not yet known. Doctors have referred the injured to Varanasi for better treatment. The inspector said that further action would be taken only after Sunny’s condition improves. No arrest has been made in the case yet.
