A delegation of Muslim community led by Qazi Syed Nisar Ali of Khandwa city met Khandwa District Superintendent of Police Vivek Singh on Wednesday. The delegation demanded action against those who attacked the Muslim youth.

In Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, a student was mercilessly thrashed for allegedly molesting a girl student. The incident took place on January 3 in the parking lot of a shopping mall. The local police was informed the same day. After the video went viral, on Wednesday, the local police registered a case against the youth for molesting the girl. On his complaint, an FIR was also registered against unknown accused for assaulting him on January 3 itself. A fortnight after this, on Wednesday, 6 accused youths who were beaten up were arrested.

Investigation is on.”
City Qazi Syed Nisar Ali says, ‘A video is going viral on social media, which is from a few days back. The victim youth studies in SN College. A conspiracy was made with him. Taking him to the parking lot of the shopping mall in front of the college, the anti-social elements of Khandwa city thrashed him mercilessly. We have met the Superintendent of Police and demanded that a case be registered against those who assaulted under the sections of kidnapping and mob lynching. The Superintendent of Police has assured to take action.
